We are expecting our first baby!!

       God has finally blessed us. We are super excited. I am now 8 weeks and 3 days, I know I still have a  long way to go but I will get there.

We found out with a positive home pregnancy test on December 22nd 2012.I had my first ultrasound this Monday (21st January 2013). I was so nervous going to the hospital. I was praying the whole time. My husband was not allowed inside the room and I was not allowed to see the screen either. It was so disappointing as we were really hoping to get the glimpse of our little bean. But the good news is that by the end of the exam the technician told me that I was right on the track and she was able to see the fetus and heartbeat.What a relief. As soon as I heard this I couldn't control my tears of course they were the result of pure happiness that filled my heart.

We haven't told anyone yet including our family members. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow morning to go over the ultrasound results and after that we are going to slowly spill the beans. Two of our close friends families are currently out of country and I am eagerly waiting for them to get back here so that I can share this good news.

Complains so far:

1) Sleep tops the list I guess. For some reason I am not getting good nights sleep not sure if a body pillow will help.Any ideas?
2) I had nausea starting from week7 but haven't thrown up yet. Thank GOD.
3) Food aversion: Can't seem to like the stuff I cooked in the morning for Dinner.
4) Back pain.
